Tennis for Charity Ladies Doubles Tournament (at Taylor Tennis and WWC)
Tennis for Charity Tournament – September 15th, 16th, & 17th, 2015
From September 15th through the 17th, 2015, the Winnipeg Winter Club and Taylor Tennis will co-host the 18th Annual Tennis for Charity Ladies Doubles Tournament. Our tournament continues to be one of the premier tennis events of the year open to Manitoba women who love the game of tennis. The tournament concludes with a gala luncheon, silent auction and raffle.
All funds raised this year will be used to support Dreams Take Flight, a volunteer group which organizes an annual trip to Disneyland for physically, mentally or socially challenged children. This trip-of-a-lifetime gives the children a chance to forget about doctors, nurses, illness and troubled backgrounds for one magical day.
Last year, our tournament raised $14,500 for Specialized Services for Children and Youth for its capital campaign. It was dedicated to enhancing Manitoba’s first centralized care facility for children and youth with disabilities and special needs.
Please help us to make our event another great success this year!
Please consider assisting us with our fundraising in one of the following ways:
• By donating items, services, or gift certificates from your company for our silent auction or raffle; or
• With a cash donation. Your cheque, payable to Tennis for Charity, will help to make dreams come true for children facing enormous challenges in their lives.
You will receive an income tax receipt from Dreams Take Flight for the full amount of your cash contribution.
A donors list acknowledging you and/or your company will be placed at the prize table and at every luncheon table.
On behalf of the Tennis for Charity Committee, thank you for your consideration. It is our hope that we can count on your support for our event.
Yours truly,
TENNIS FOR CHARITY TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
