WLTC Club Tournament September 5 - September 10
The 2017 WLTC Tournament will be held Tuesday, September 5 to Sunday, September 10.
Registration Deadline:
Registration is now open. You can register from your Member Account at https://vs2.clubinterconnect.com/wltc or in person with a Staff Attendant. All registrations must be submitted by August 31st.
Events:
Players can register for up to 3 events:
- Ladies Singles and Doubles
- Men's Singles and Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
NEW ! Format: Each event will have a Main Draw. Players will be seeded and qualifying rounds will be played to Quarter-Finals. The Quarter-Finalists will continue to play the qualifying draw AND be moved to the Main Draw. (This is similar to the A and B pool format used in the past.)
All matches will be played best 2 out of 3 sets, with the 3rd set by super tie-break to 10 points.
NEW ! Consolation Rounds - Singles Only: Players must sign up for consolation matches after first match loss. All consolations matches will be played by the PRO SET rules, except for the Semi-Finals and Finals. First player to reach 8 games wins the set. If the match is tied at 7-7, the set will be played to 9 games. If the match is still tied at 8-8, a tiebreak will be played up to 7 points to decide the winner. Semi-Finals and Finals will be played in 3 sets with the 3rd set by super tie-break to 10 points.
NEW ! Friday Night Fun - Games on court and off court with light snack for tournament Players.
On Saturday September 9th, a social style luncheon will be served.
Registration Fee: $5.00 Per Player
3 Courts will be open for regular Member play during the tournament; however, tournament matches will take priority if matches run late.
